Awesome God

I thank God for Noi ...

 

I was beginning to feel jaded and very frustrated with walking the streets ... almost like starting to resent it cos frankly I get fed up with smiling and not being able to really strike a real conversation.  I almost feel like a barbie doll there!  just beautiful on the outside, yet so shallow in the inside!

 

Anyhow, I am so glad Noi is here.  Noi is a young doctor from Laos whom I met at a party.  Meeting her itself was divine cos I happen to walk past the table she was seated in and the host's mother told me in a factor of fact manner to sit down to talk with her.  I guess when the host request this, you have no choice but to agree :)  Although the conversation that day didnt take off too much, I am glad we met cos i got a little more enthused with helping her.

 

Since God is a God that delights in answering our prayers, He used Noi to excite my heart yet again cos a few days ago, I just told the Lord  that I want a real sheep.  I want someone whom i can connect with, share the gospel with and disciple.

 

Today was simply awesome!  I shared with her that after Michelle prayed (what i truly meant was after Michelle and I repented haha as initially we didn't really see her as a soul that the Lord wants to save) the Lord started moving.  Yup, immediately after that, we had two people call to say that they will house Noi plus I met Joyce who said she could attend the TSEL English Course, which was starting next Thursday and Joyce herself will be teaching the course.  Joyce is the Director of TSEL hence essentially Noi has the best teaching her!  

 

I shared with her that i feel God's showing her favour and SHE AGREED.  i thot she didnt understand so repeated myself and she replied by telling me how hard michelle worked (called many schools, surfed the net etc) but to no avail.  Then WL texted her to call  FL and M but nothing came out of it.  She then continued to offer that the day after michelle said it was really hard to find an english course, she was pleasantly surprised to hear that she found one.  I slipped in again that it's God's blessings and she said, YES I KNOW!

 

Noi also asked Min to download the bible into her handphone and even asked for an audio bible.  She was also very agreeable to attend cell groups and even the baptism service this Friday!

 

I believe that Noi will get to know Jesus very soon.  But more than this, I thank God for grace and for thrilling my heart yet again.  i guess at the end of the day, God knows what it takes to trigger me to return to being excited for souls!
