i found my 2004 journal and wala, discovered what the Lord had to say about us - ALL OR NOTHING CAFE! except then, i didnt know we would be called AON!
anyhow, on 10 july 04 He gave me psalm 84 and told me the following ...
a) what is the place going to be like Lord ...
I think it will be a place where we will at all times be saying...
- rev 4:8 : holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, who is and who is to come :)
- rev 4 :11 : worthy are You our Lord, God ... to receive glory, honour, power because You created all things and because of Your will, everything exists!
- rev 5:12 : Worthy is the Lamb that was slain,ed to receive all Power, all Riches, all Wisdom, all Might, all Honour, all Glory and all Blessings!
- rev 5:13 : to Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessings, honour, glory and dominion forever and ever
b) why Lord ... why would i want to say all these things nite and day ...
- cos i will be so awed, thankful and amazed by the God i serve. i will be able to see Him for who He really is - big and awesome
- david, the father of what we are trying to establish, was a warrior. when he focused on who Jesus really is (meditate day and nite), he could grasp that the Lord of host Himself is fighting the war and not us!!!
- focusing on Jesus gives me a fearless spirit and this helps me/us prepare for end times
- when i keep declaring His attributes, i realise that Jesus, the God Almighty really loves me; ie such an awesome God would allow me to love Him and war / partner WITH Him
- rev 4:11 : because Jesus created all things, i can help 're-create' and 'heal' land
- our praises break strongholds
- change when i gaze/behold Jesus
- creates a love sick environment
c) why did david desire God's dwelling place (and i do too Lord)
- knew that this was the place to be refreshed (promise from isaiah 56) where those who go to HOP would be joyful (psalm 43:3,4)
- from his being, he desired to worship God (he was a lovesick bride) nite and day : wanted to gaze at the beauty of Jesus (psalm 27:4)
- knew that God would meet him there (psalm 84 - from valley of Bacca to springs)
- place of rest to prepare for war
- place to get revelation
- knew God DESERVES IT!
- cos perhaps this is what's taking place in heaven? nite and day angels are worshipping God
- we are created to worship God
- knew principle of giving thanks all the time
- psalm 63:2 : seen His power and glory in the temple
- refuge place (psalm 63:7, 28:2, 27:5)
d) why did he call Jesus the Lord of Host
- he was a warrior so he knew Jesus as the captain of the Host, the Lord and King of the army
- he could see in heaven where Jesus's position was the King (even though He's also our bridegroom and judge)
