Happy offerings!

The offering box is done-ish! Its still in wip as far as the decor goes, but it is able to function.

The impetus to get it done began since the week of the feast of tabernacles. The short of which was that I felt that the Lord wanted a place where people could give their financial offerings to Him and remain anonymous. Also, while we were beginning to receive loose change during the same week, I felt the Lord give me a pretty personal illustration of why we need to have a place that was sanctified and set apart for offerings to Him...and not merely receive loose change.

SO...thank you Lord for the box.

In the meantime, I'm still praying that the Lord would raise some talent and anointing for the finishing touches to the offering box. The idea right now has been to paint it a cheery color (like a mural perhaps), and basically, encourage happy giving to the Lord. I'm also praying as to the particular scripture that will go on the box. If anyone has any ideas (feel free to incubate the ideas...that came up in today's prayer meetings...ie we might not want to blog everything down as and when, in case the Lord wants us to "incubate" the idea/thought till the right time.)...nevertheless, if anyone has any ideas...let me know.
