Hezekiah was preparing Jerusalem's water system against future attacks by digging a tunnel through 1,750 ft of hard limestone bedrock. That certainly required TEAM work!!!

 

There was a Northern TEAM  had 3 false starts and a Southern TEAM 5 false starts  so the tunnel was not straight but was a large rugged S

 

This tunnel is an amazing feat of ancient engineering for 701 BC  Studies still continue  to try to understand how the TEAMs met just by the sound of pick-axe or the other's voice.

 

But God's voice was heard through the Prophet Isaiah 22:11 you have madea ditch between two walls for the water....but you did not look to the One Who Made It.  And the One Who Formed It long ago, you did not see.   In Ezekiel 47 God also promises a river flowing from a rebuilt Temple on the Temple Mount flowing with LIFE to the Dead Sea

Walking through that very dark...very narrow...kneedeep water takes about 40 minutes

As I walked through...I was playing my harmonica...to a fitting song the Lord gave me about 15 or 20 yrs ago while with a van full of kids and grankids were in bumper-bumper traffic thru the Liberty Tunnels in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania,  it fits some of life's tunnel situations......

 

When you're goin' thru a tunnel...y gotta be lookin' straight ahead

Don't look up and don't look down...to the right or to the left

When you're goin' thru a tunnel...y gotta maintain your speed

Keep your eye on Jesus....and let Him lead

YESTERDAY...God answered prayer and blessed with the FIRST RAIN... it was so EXCITING....YESTERDAY in United States the tibetin monk was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor.....and addressed as His Holiness......This is a very dark Spiritual Tunnel for US especially coming a few weeks before attempting to divide God's Land

 

We serve a Holy God....He will not be mocked.....
